Current: Energy is provided by private companies but the prices they can charge are regulated.
Proposed: Energy is provided by private companies which are not subject to any special regulations.

Old value:: Only adults are allowed to purchase fireworks
Current: Only adults are allowed to purchase fireworks
Proposed: The sale of fireworks is unregulated, anyone may buy them.
Article 3

Old value:: There shall be a minimum wage at a level that a full time worker on it can support a family of four without falling under the poverty line.
Current: There shall be a minimum wage at a level that a single full time worker on it can adequately subsist.

Message | The AAS can pretty uniformly vote against all of these. The only one that gives us pause for a moment, is Article 4 - because we support the right of workers to strike. However, the current legislation allows striking by any person - and asks only that minimal service must be maintained in KEY categories... which the AAS believes is an excellent arrangement. |
