Bill: Higher Education Loan System
Details
Submitted by[?]: Conservative Party of Beluzia
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: April 3798
Description[?]:
As much as we wish that the government could provide free higher education for people who wish to study at these institutions, with the government footing the tuition fee bills of every student, it isn't realistic and is a burden on our economy. This bill, if passed, will change the higher education application process. People will have the choice to pay their tuition fees straight off when applying, or take a loan from the government which they will slowly pay back but ONLY when they are earning the average minimum salary in the field they are studying in. This way if people from poorer backgrounds want to go to university then they still can without the worry of money, however, if the higher education system works out for them and they get a job in their studied field, then they will start to pay back their 'Student Loan' which benefits the nation. |

Random fact: In cases where players introduce RP laws to a nation and then leave, Moderation reserves the discretion to declare the RP laws void if they appear to have fallen into disuse. In particular, please bear in mind that a player who is inexperienced with Particracy role-play and has joined a nation as the only party there should not generally be expected to abide by RP laws implemented by previous players who have been and left. |
