Bill: Art Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: New Rutania Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: June 3801

Description[?]:

Mr Speaker,

The federal government should subsidize art schools and galleries to promote artistic culture. The current policy to decide on a case-by-case basis makes it unfair for some artist and art institutions. We believe that artists should not be subsidized but they shall earn by selling their artworks through government subsidized galleries.

Thank You,
Dan Ahmad

MessageMr. Speaker,

The Government should not be in the business of subsidizing art institution in the first place. We would like to see this law changed so that the government, both local and federal, be removed from this useless stipulation.

MessageMr Speaker,

We disagree with the Urban Party of Rutaina, because the government should be responsible for promoting cultural activities. Subsidization of Art is a great way to promote culture and also, to preserve masterpieces that define Rutania and its history.

Thank You,
Dan Ahmad,

Random fact: It is the collective responsibility of the players in a nation to ensure all currently binding RP laws are clearly outlined in an OOC reference bill in the "Bills under debate" section of the nation page. Confusion should not be created by displaying only some of the current RP laws or displaying RP laws which are no longer current.
