Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: October 3801

Child benefits should only be granted to large families or families on low-incomes. At the moment, child benefit is being granted to every family that has a child, regardless of if they financially need it or not, or how many children they have. Message | There's a HUGE loophole in this bill.... If people get benefits for large families, surely people who want to abuse the benefits system or are hard pressed for cash can just have extra children for financial reasons, meaning that money can still be wasted through this bill and that it can create unstable families Ditch the large families clause and we'll back this |
