Message | Mr. Speaker We see no reason for this. What is the purpose? Just to put 99 MPs our of a job? Besides, odd numbered bodies are better because they are never split. |

Message | Mr. Speaker, 599 was chosen for a specific reason. 300 seats is a clear majority, 400 is a clear supermajority. The Presidium can be split into 2 coalitions, 300-299, and a government can still be formed. What happens when 2 coalitions get 250 seats each when we have 500 seats? As the MP from the FJS said, there is no reason for the change and odd-numbered bodies are better. -- Andre Fertig, Chairman of the GNRG |

Random quote: "Many forms of Government have been tried, and will be tried in this world of sin and woe. No one pretends that democracy is perfect or all-wise. Indeed, it has been said that democracy is the worst form of government except all those other forms that have been tried from time to time." - Winston Churchill |
