Bill: Cabinet Proposal of March 3811
Details
Submitted by[?]: Free Democratic Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill presents the formation of a cabinet. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. Traditionally, parties in the proposal vote yes, others (the opposition) vote no. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in and all parties in the proposal have voted yes, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.
Voting deadline: November 3811
Description[?]:
"We have proposed a reasonable cabinet. We think the NLP is a good party to have because of their honesty and love for the country. We think the Unionists are experienced and effective in the executive branch. We feel Chann has too much power in the government, and their corporations shouldn't 'be in bed' with the government. NLP and Unionists, tell us what you think." ~William Paul, Secondary Chairman of the LCC and Supreme President |

Message | "My hypothesis that LCC asked for all-parties government just to get into it is true: when they have power, they don't give any positions to their opponents. We are not asking for anything: we would not enter a cabinet that includes LCC. We just want to show that a lot of their statements doesn't reflect their ideological positions, but their wish for power. They would just do anything to give foreign transnational corporations the control of our country." Julia Wise, the SDP Chairperson |

Random quote: "To the youth of America, I say, beware of being trivialized by the commercial culture that tempts you daily. I hear you saying often that you're not turned on by politics. The lessons of history are clear and portentous. If you do not turn onto politics, politics will turn on you." - Ralph Nader |
