Bill: Sports Club Funding Reform
Details
Submitted by[?]: Federal Green Party (FGP)
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: May 3812
Description[?]:
We see no reason to ban local governments from funding sports clubs. If they wish to do so then they should be able to, without interference from the national government. This could be especially important for sports clubs of our youth, who could benefit immensely from it. After all, instead of being on the streets they would be on the field getting exercise and learning important team skills! |
Proposals
Article 1
Proposal[?] to change The funding of sports clubs.
Old value:: The government does not fund sports clubs; only private ones are allowed.
Current: The government funds some sports clubs side-by-side with private ones.
Proposed: Local governments decide the funding policy of sports clubs.

Message | We are happy to hear of your support! It is unfortunate that you do not agree with that article. What the Reform Option wishes to clarify is that this bill will not ban drugs, simply regulate them as we do with alcohol. It is unfortunate that we cannot get your support SDP. If this bill was to fail then we shall propose another bill with articles 1 and 2 since it appears both you and the ruling LCC are supporters of that part of the Platform. May we ask why you believe private schools should remain banned? If someone has the money for it shouldn't they be able to send their child to a private school of their choice? Note this would not effect public school funding in any way. |

Message | "Article 1 is our second least favorite. We are only accepting it here because article 5, 6, and 7 are so good. I as an individual love article 1, but the general thought of our party is that article 1 isn't the best. Just wait it out and see if the CNP, the Unionists, or the NLP accept it." ~Ted Johnson, Head Chairman of the LCC |

Message | It would be better if thia bill were to be broken down to perhaps 3-4 bills with common topics. It would be easier to support the legislation you agree with then. Adam Reed NLP chairman |
