Bill: Economic Reforms
Details

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: May 3812
Description[?]:
It's time for our economy to achieve much needed economic reforms! There is no reason for the government to mandate democratic worker's councils. Let both democratically-run worker businesses as well as privately owned for profit and non-profit organizations coexist freely. This way we can expect better job growth all around thanks to a more competitive economy! |

Message | They still will be able to. That right is not eliminated with this bill at all. It freely allows any form of management to exist in the workplace. The current law instead restricts the rights of Solentians who wish to start their own company and expand it as entrepreneurs. This is clearly discriminatory and effectively destroys the spirit of entrepreneurship in Solentia. Leading to far-reaching economic problems across the board. Imagine if an entrepreneur had an idea that would improve everyone's quality of life immensely. But since he knows his company would be taken from him by the workers (who did not create the idea) he decides not to put it into practice. The current law destroys the creative abilities of entrepreneurship that is vital for any successful economy to function. -Vesse Jentura, Head Speaker of the Reform Option Council |
