Bill: Quality Legislation Act 3812

Details

Submitted by[?]: Coalition for National Unity [CNU]

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: September 3812

Description[?]:

Proposer: Ala-ad-Din ibn Haroun Al-Fulan, Unionist Legislative Lead

"This bill would see a balanced legislation system enforced. It would allow Parties to propose one proposal for each month of the year and accumulate a maximum of 6 (i.e half a year's worth) at a time. The focus should always be on the quality and not the quantity of bills."

MessageThe Reform Option of Solentia sees this as a reasonable and modest reform of the current system. Indeed it makes sense to allow parties to make a proposal every month.

The only thing we would personally change is that the maximum proposal quota be raised to 12 as well. But the proposed bill is still an improvement over our current situation and we would vote in favor of it.
