| The Reform Option does see the benefits for having animal testing for cosmetic purposes. Unfortunately having this completely unregulated has led to horrendous conditions for the animals involved. We see the need to establish regulations to assure that animal testing for cosmetic purposes meet basic standards. Animals have basic rights as well, specifically torture and crowded spaces (such as cages) are things that we hope will be prevented through regulations as proposed by this bill. |
