| The Reform Option supports the idea that no one is above the law. While we do understand the arguments for some level of diplomatic immunity (such as the diplomats not being aware of our laws), we feel that the law should apply equally to all. Diplomats are guests in our nation and should be treated with respect, by the same token they should also learn about and respect our laws and customs. |

Proposed: The government grants no diplomatic immunity and foreign diplomats are subject to arrest and prosecution and civil action under all laws of the host nation.
