SEC I. Any media reporting, gathering or distributing company found to have knowingly and with malice aforethought publish false information about any individual, group, organization, etc. will be subject to fines and/or prosecution. SECII. This bill establishes the National Media Council (NMC) under the Ministry of Trade and Industry to foster ethics in journalism, to investigate complaints and resolve infractions. |
