Bill: Anarch Anakrousite Shatter Reform Bill - Convocation (iv)

Details

Submitted by[?]: Commonwealth Workers Army

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: June 2168

Description[?]:

The Anarch Anakrousite Shatter wishes to suggest (again) changing the name of the Senate, to something more 'unique' on the world stage.

Suggestion:

The Anarch Anakrousite Shatter suggests "Convocation".

Convocation: a group of people formally assembled for a special purpose

Above all, the AAS would like to see Likatonia as UNIQUE and special.

MessageFor the sake of uniqueness, and 'flavour', the AAS hopes to see this well supported.

If all those who have previously expressed support, offer support this time, we have a good chance to pass, we think....

MessageThis is GOING to happen this time around - if my rough calculations are correct, the PSS vote here in addition to everyone else's so far will seal it.
Well done everyone for this show of unity under a new senate.

MessageI believe we need another 6 votes, actually.... but thanks to the PSS for their support.

Now - if we can just get the support of the Radical Libertarians or Right Wing Liberals... both of whom HAVE supported it, at one time or another... (or if the Strength Party want to 'jump the fence' from their last position), we might actually pass it, after only four attempts. :)

Whichever way it goes, thanks to those who have supported it.

MessageJust as a matter of curiousity... is there a specific reason the Strength Party voted against the renaming of the Senate?

MessageOnly another three months before the term is up on this legislation... it would be a shame to come SO close (6 votes) and still fail.

MessageYes! Our most earnest gratitude goes out to the Right Wing Liberal Party, for their 'eleventh-hour' support.
