MessageAny way the wind blows, eh LPS? The Senate has the power to enforce any order to the government as we are the people's *direct *representatives. We are here to do the people's will. It really isn't that hard to figure out. Who would have guessed that an 'authoritarian' party is lecturing the Senate on the principles of representative government?

Message"Listen, we want to solve the situation, but our party isn't exactly sure what to do. The people voted for the SUN to be in the position they are in. If they feel something needs to be done, why don't they propose something instead of proposing for someone else to do it? It once again shows their lack of the belief in personal responsibility."

MessageSUN has been the only party to offer solutions. Has the LPS been asleep?

1. Senate Resolution Condemning the Aggression of the Majalid Emirate of Kafuristan & Authorization for Operation Golden Eagle

2. Senate Resolution to Address the Expansionist and Aggressive Policy of the Majalid Emirate of Kafuristan

3. Senate Authorization for Covert Operations in the Majalid Emirate of Kafuristan & Ratification of Foreign Operations Intelligence Act

The last proposal is still in debate and is intended as backup should certain parties within the government lose their nerve for even pursuing a diplomatic solution. We do not believe a diplomatic solution is enough without teeth to bite with. However, we offered this second proposal in the hopes of opening up diplomatic channels.

MessageIt may also be noted that SUN is not a member of the coalition ruling the government, so we are unable to directly enact solutions. That's your job.

Random fact: It is the collective responsibility of the players in a nation to ensure all currently binding RP laws are clearly outlined in an OOC reference bill in the "Bills under debate" section of the nation page. Confusion should not be created by displaying only some of the current RP laws or displaying RP laws which are no longer current.

Random quote: "The 20th century has been characterised by three developments of great political importance: the growth of democracy, the growth of corporate power; and the growth of corporate propaganda against democracy." - Alex Carey
