Bill: Protest Against Government

Details

Submitted by[?]: Lodamun Justice Tahreek

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: June 3819

Description[?]:

Mr. Speaker,
We strictly condemn the government and all its policies. We have now decided to protest on the streets of Lodamum and ask for Justice. We do not believe in this government or assembly. This assembly had come in power through fake elections. The elections were based on rigging. We demand government to form an commission to check this election with in 2 months or else we will start street movement. The commission should be independent .

Why is the Justice tahreek protesting. When they could be voicing their opinions within the presidium.

MessageMr. Speaker,

If elections were rigged and fake, they were not legitimate. Still, the party that makes these claims is participating in the Presidium and setting things to vote here. MPs from the LJT should resign if they believe the elections were fake.

LJT do not have to proclaim that they need to protest in the presidium. If are intending to make a accusation thats okay, but why announce 'we are going to protest' in the presidium.Just protest..

If the Justice Tahreek protests in this presidium... according to current legislation they are endangering public saftey and the security forces will remove them from this place. We advise our brothers who are not happy with the peoples will to resign.

MessageMr. Speaker,

I think that it is unfair to condemn all parties in the governing coalition and all of their policies. For one, a policy can't be implemented without being passed in the Presidium in the first place.

Another thing is that the LJT is claiming that the elections were fraudulent. This makes no sense, since LJT MPs are using their seats, which they got by that supposedly fraudulent election, to make a motion in the house that they would say has no legitimacy. If the elections were fraudulent, then the Presidium has no legitimacy and this bill would have no legitimacy if it is passed. The LJT should be careful about calling the elections fraudulent.

Even if we form a commission, what would the legitimacy of this commission be if the commission was formed by representatives who got their power from fraudulent elections?

The GNRG won the least seats, and we haven't claimed that the elections were fraudulent. The LJT should either accept the results, or have their MPs resign from the Presidium.
