Bill: Child Benefit Reform Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Federal Green Party (FGP)
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: March 3821
Description[?]:
We continue to see some families suffering because their incomes are slightly higher than the amount that is allowed to be eligible for child benefits. As a result we urge all parties to think seriously about this issue. Why should some families suffer because they are making a little bit more money than what the government decides is under the poverty line? These families still have a lot to deal with and many costs to take care of. Why not guarantee all families the right to child benefit payments? We owe it to the children of Solentia. |
