Message | The principal value in WMDs is their use as a deterrent. If we have the weapons and if our military is authorized (on paper, at least) to use them in the case of a national emergency, potential enemies will think twice before moving aggressively against us, our allies, and our interests globally. Needless to say, if we are attacked and are in danger of national extermination, then these weapons will be invaluable in turning the tide (especially as our conventional forces, as befits a small and fairly poor nation, are not exceptionally developed). WMDs are invaluable force multipliers, essential for true deference, and a useful last resort. Abolishing them would be a strategic mistake. With all due respect, Arthur Contas Fmr. Message | Indeed IF we are being attacked. But since the chance is so small and we aren't under potential threat, this bill is justified. H. Habsi Minister of Defense |
Date | 20:12:53, March 25, 2015 CET | From | National Republican Party | To | Debating the War act |
Message | There's no reason not to have the weapons. What danger is there in having them, storing them, and researching them? There's no moral issue with having the weapons. Arthur P. Contas Fmr. Minister of Defense |

Message | It also costs money, now we will have a save way to research the technology and when we don't need the weapons. Why don't get rid of them? And there's a moral issue with using them. Unfortunately we don't like the temptation to use them H. Habsi Minister of Defense |
