Haha, and how would it be illegal?

MessageMr. Speaker,

I do not agree that this cabinet proposal is "illegal" as Minister Valentin says it. Nevertheless, it is a sad example of the FJS' opportunism.

MessageMr. Speaker,

Clearly anything Raven Valentinn doesn't like is "illegal" and clearly every opposition attempt to form a government is "opportunism" to Andre Fertig. Both assertions are laughable.

MessageMr. Speaker,

It astonishes me that the FJS fails to recognize their shallow opportunism. Every election they continue to propose coalitions in an effort to break up the current governing coalition, which has provided stable governance in Lodamun for years now. It is obvious that this is undertaken with little to no consultation with their proposed partners, and is nothing short of an effort to find the shortest route to the Presidency.

The current coalition has maintained the confidence of the Lodamese people, there is no mandate for the opposition to form a government. We will continue to support the current coalition, whether as it stands or if the cabinet is shuffled. We share the sentiment of the Lodamese people.

MessageMr Speaker,

The people have given the three parties in this new coalition a majority of seats. Clearly they want change. We would be neglecting our duties if we did not build a coalition to represent them. We did not attempt to build a government following the last election because the ruling coalition had a clear majority of seats. Prior to that we did attempt a coalition after the ruling government became dysfunctional and the president resigned. Even GNRG acknowledged the need for a new government and attempted to form a government with us.

MessageMr. Speaker,

The GNRG just needed to see a stable government at the time we agreed to a coalition with the FJS. Those same conditions are not met right now. Lodamun does not need a new government, however I would like to see an expansion of the current coalition to the Leftist parties.

does this mean the GNRG leadership does not appreciate our role within this coalition??

MessageMr. Speaker,

The GNRG did not say that. The FJS was referring to the time that the ministers from NDP (now called the PF) had resigned from the government and left the coalition.
