Message | As you may know, my party supports the death penalty for people convicted of capital crimes. Cruel/inhumane treatment is a different story - we would not like that to be done to a citizen of Telamon. At the same time, foreign policy requires that we deal with countries whose policies/actions we might detest, but it is in the national interest to have relations with. I'd rather that the government be free to pursue any treaties that it deems a beneficial to our Republic. |
