Message | People should be free to wear whatever they like. How would this even be enforced? Women would have to wear a dress and could not wear jeans and a baggy shirt? Would the government establish laws that dictate what is "men's clothing" and what is "women's clothing"? This is ridiculous, just because you don't think someone should wear something doesn't mean that it should be a law. |

Message | And what happens to people who are hermaphrodites? Would they be able to wear whatever? Would they have to "choose a gender" and then wear the clothes that the government allows for that gender? |
Date | 23:39:28, April 06, 2015 CET | From | SUN | To | Debating the Public Indecency Act I |
Message | Hermaphrodites are a rare exception and, even so, typically choose and/or display traits of one gender or another. No one choose pure androgyny. Social sense and clothing stores already dictate what is men's and women's clothing and last time anyone looked, did not offer an androgynous section. |
Date | 00:33:45, April 08, 2015 CET | From | Federal Green Party (FGP) | To | Debating the Public Indecency Act I |
Message | Plenty of people are androgynous. But even assuming what you say is true, what about people who like to dress comfortable? Why should a woman who likes to wear baggy jeans and a men's shirt be punished for it? What crime is committed by this? Let people wear what they like without the Fashion Police literally arresting them. |
