Date | 23:44:40, April 13, 2015 CET | From | DOLGARIA NATIONAL PARTY {DNP} | To | Debating the Military Reform |
Message | Choice is against this. |
Date | 01:23:28, April 14, 2015 CET | From | Forward Party of Dolgaria | To | Debating the Military Reform |
Message | We agree with these ideas in theory but we have already made compromises with other parties like Choice that allow us to use these in extreme cases. We would never use superweapons unless seriously provoked. |
Date | 01:29:15, April 14, 2015 CET | From | Radical Democrats | To | Debating the Military Reform |
Message | Mr Speaker, We believe that we should under no circumstances use these extremely deadly weapons in any situation. Isobel Hart Party Leader of the Radical Democrats Radical MFP, Dolgariapolis, Lirath |
Date | 18:29:44, April 14, 2015 CET | From | DOLGARIA NATIONAL PARTY {DNP} | To | Debating the Military Reform |
Message | So Radical Democrats, you believe that we should just stand there and allow other nations or faction's to use any kind of weapon against us, but not defend ourselves and thus actually possibly save MORE lives, innocent lives? And as the Forward party stated, our current measures would only be used in extreme circumstances. |
Date | 18:31:08, April 14, 2015 CET | From | Democratic Alliance Party (DAP) | To | Debating the Military Reform |
Message | We would not want to see private ownership of national defense in full capacity, nor would we want to damage our nation's ability to defend in nuclear attacks. However, we do agree that land mines should be prohibited. This is a bad law. DDA |
Date | 18:33:08, April 14, 2015 CET | From | DOLGARIA NATIONAL PARTY {DNP} | To | Debating the Military Reform |
Message | DDA, why do you think landmines should be prohibited? |
Date | 23:56:06, April 14, 2015 CET | From | Radical Democrats | To | Debating the Military Reform |
Message | Mr Speaker, What do we achieve by nuking other nations first? Nothing. What if we get nuked first, what do we achieve then by nuking the other nation? The answer is still nothing. They would probably nuke us again and vice versa. It is not a very smart policy. We believe in private ownership since the private sector is the most innovative one and will therefor deliver us better weapons. Message | We wouldn't nuke them first, we'd wait until afterwards. But hypothetically we would gain much if we nuked first as that would mean the enemy nation would be weaker thus we are more likely to win wars, if we have to get involved in them. And if they nuked us first, then if we nuke back then we would stand more of a chance of survival as a nation than not. What would you suggest, we just sit there and take it? |
Date | 00:09:18, April 15, 2015 CET | From | DOLGARIA NATIONAL PARTY {DNP} | To | Debating the Military Reform |
Message | As for private ownership of defence industries, the government subsidizes the industry but also allows and works alongside private businesses, so it's win win. |
