| We, the Social-Democratic party (SDP), call for Impeachment of President because of his abuse of authority. The illegal acts done by Kaiser Chann: 1. Enacting an illegal executive order. It was clearly said in the executive order law that only Supreme President has the power to enact executive decrees. But according to constitution, the current title of Head of State is "President" not "Supreme President". 2. Illegal use of eminent domain. The current eminent domain law is "The government may seize private property for vital government works". It also sets compensation for eminent domain: "A neutral body appointed by the courts determines the compensation, either party may appeal". But "Pres. Chann has ordered all Ahmadi, Kafuri assets in Solentia and in transit in/out of Solentia to be seized and liquidated". This is violation of the law and abuse of authority. He seized assets for liquidation, not for vital government works. And then he gave no compensation. 3. Use of paramilitaries. The law explicitly forbids the use of paralimitaries within our nation: "Paramilitaries are illegal and the recognized government may intervene freely to stop any possible activity". But Chann has merged his Republican troops and Republican Guards with the regular army. These troops are under CNP control, and they are in military action. Private troops that are made for a war are clearly paramilitary organization. |

| Message | We didn't incorporate our own troops into the Republican Army. The Republican Army and the Republican Guard are separate from "Chann Republican Guard" (OOC: Probably should have asked us first for clarification). We only followed SUN's lead in calling the army of Solentia the Republican Army. Secondly, Eminent Domain protects lawful citizens of Solentia. It does not protect the assets of terrorists or foreign invasion forces and I think we all have consensus that the Ahmadists are terrorists and that Kafuri infiltrators are unlawful foreign forces operating in Solentia. |
