Message | OOC: Again, please try to be realistic in the format. Don't just say "Here's a new religion, vote on it!" Put some actual effort into creating a religion, its history, its founders, its tenets or canons, etc. Don't just make a conclusory statement and expect everyone to accept it. This is an RP game. |

Message | Origin of Secularism (unofficial title) Donny Kennedy, the glorious founder, dove into the marvelous wonders of evolution and science. What he concluded was that the ones in power must be obligated to lead. The natural earth decides the leaders of society, and those leaders must be worshipped. Anyone who rebels and takes their place may be worshipped as well. It's a religion where the elites get worshipped by the peasants beneath them. In 3781, Donny founded the religion officially, but he did so in secret. Him and a group of legislators from various parties then joined Ron Rand (who didn't know about the religion) and joined together to form the LCC. When the LCC collapsed in 3811, Donny thought about starting his big revolution. He decided to wait until the LPS was founded and in power to take control. The religion started as a cult following, but now it has about 10,000 members as of 3831, and they all were waiting until Donny started the great revolution to "come out of the closet". Holy Sites Solentia is the holy site of Secularism. Only members of the Solentian government and military may be worshipped. Religious Actions This religion endorses the fact that humans are essentially apes. You may hurt others. You may kill others. You may have sex with anyone. If you murder a military official, you might be killed by someone else, as everyone who follows the religion worships the military. Basically, there's no rules in the religion except "worship those who are more powerful than you or try and overthrow them". Also, if you aren't of Solentian ethnicity, you are an animal. Role of Government Government is used in the religion to expand Solentian power. Everyone of Solentian ethnicity has rights. If you aren't of Solentian ethnicity, you do not have rights. The government may use military power on other nations. They may not restrict the power of the elites (the rich, the strong, the men, the adults, etc). |
