Bill: Progressive Income Tax Reform
Details
Submitted by[?]: Federal Green Party (FGP)
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill proposes to change income taxes. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.
Voting deadline: March 3833
Description[?]:
The Federal Green Party (FGP) propose to adjust the government's income tax policy to better address the economic situation of the Democratic Republic of Solentia. This way we can further cut taxes on the poorest among us, whilst raising taxes on higher income earners. This would bring in an equivalent amount of revenues whilst lowering the pay gap between the rich and the poor. |

Message | The poor shouldn't be paying any taxes. They are poor and need all the money they can get. You can only get so much juice out of a dried up orange. Why not let them prosper and thrive instead? |

Random fact: It is not allowed to call more than 5 elections in 5 game years in a nation. The default sanction for a player persisting in the early election tactic will be a seat reset. |
