Message | Mr. Speaker, While the Luthori Imperial Party agrees with Article 5 for increasing the higher education of the general population, and with Article 7 for allowing workers the possibility to correct bad practices in the workplace through striking, the LIP is against Articles 1 - 4. while ambivalent towards Article 6. Article 1 has the possibility to limit the economy of the Empire as a whole by limiting the workforce. Article 2, while increasing the number of legally recognized adults in the Empire, would give younger people with less experience and/or maturity the rights of adults, which could hurt the Empire in the long run. Articles 3 and 4 would hurt the aristocratic system that upholds the notion of an Empire. Concerning Article 6, while the LIP is willing to support the rights of workers, we don't want to create a trend that could lead to an overly-powerful labor organization which could oppose the Empire. As a result, we neither support or support this Article. I yield |
