| Currently the law in The Republic of Dolgaria states that anyone is allowed to own firearms as long as they do not have a history of dangerous mental illness or a violent criminality. The Dolgarian Green Party believes that no individual should be allowed (or find it necessary) to own firearms, because as long as no one can own firearms then no one should feel the need to protect themselves with firearms. The only exceptions to the rule are those that need firearms for professional reasons and there should be strict rules regarding the storing and use of these firearms. |

Proposed: Adult individuals may not own firearms unless professionally required.
