MessageIt has been proven that in nations where firearms are routinely carried by the police vilent crimes actually increase! We should not allow our police to routinely carry deadly weapons, but instead should increase the firearms training of the best and form specially trained armed fast response teams, This practice has proven beneficial elsewhere.

MessageNo. If a cop is on a patrol and all he has is a Club and a can of mase and the criminal has a gun...he aint going to have time to call and wait for some special group to show up to save his ass, he's either going to be wounded or killed because we told him not to carry a firearm. If you want to be the one to write notes to families of slain officers...and you can sleep well at night...be my guess, but we wont allow you to do change this law without a fight.

Random fact: "Treaty-locking", or ratifiying treaties that completely or nearly completely forbid any proposals to change laws, is not allowed. Amongst other possible sanctions, Moderation reserves the discretion to delete treaties and/or subject parties to a seat reset if this is necessary in order to reverse a treaty-lock situation.

Random quote: "If man asks for many laws, it is only because he is sure that his neighbor needs them; privately he is an unphilosophical anarchist, and thinks laws in his own case superfluous." - Will Durant
