Bill: Great Nationalization and Cenzorship Act of 3834. Part III: Media Nationalization and Regulation
Details
Submitted by[?]: Communist Party of Solentia (CPS)
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: December 3834
Description[?]:
The next step towards eradication of capitalist exploitation. Free the workers! Land to people! When capitalists own media, they give us low-quality content which consists of more than 50% ads. This corporate propaganda promotes consumerism! The advertizing payment system creates monopolies. Capitalist-owned media uses lies and misinformation to lure people into voting for capitalism. And anarchists also use it to propagate their barbaric ideas of overthrowing the government. We have also included proposals that forbid foreign propaganda here. Evil capitalist foreign countries try to brainwash our people, they want us to submit to capitalist exploitation. They use internet to build a network of paid and/or brainwashed traitors of our country who want to overthrow the government and give away our sovereignty. They use other media for capitalist propaganda. This should end now! |

Message | Mr/Madam Speaker, This bill is a travesty and a disgrace. We will not stand in support of this fascist agenda preposed by the Communist-Nationalist Party, whom seeks to make a bastard of marxist philosophy. We will fight tooth and claw to protect the people of Solentia from this restrictive and abusive legislation. Dianne Goldman Chair of the Democratic Socialist Party |

Random fact: Did you know you can change the official name of your nation? All you need to do is draw up a new name that is in accordance with the Nation Renaming Guide, pass a bill proposing the name change with a two-thirds majority and then post a request to Moderation on the "Renaming Requests" thread. You can change city and region names in this way too. |
