Message | religion should not take any part in schools as children are not old enough to say what they believe about them. |

Message | But parents have more of a right to choose what is best for their children than governments. If they want religion to play a part in a child's schooling, then this option should be available to them. |

Message | And I suppose you will introduce exams and homework sessions in church? Religion should not be part of the schoolplace, if a person wants to pray there are numerous churches, mosques, temples or sacred Indian burial grounds to attend! I see no reason for prayertime in schools, and especially with 'teacher-led' prayers - this is too open to manipulation. |

Message | Would you say that sports and other extra-curricular activities should be banned? School age is a time where kids can learn about what they want to do and be: if this involves prayer, then I don't see why the govenment should intervene. I wouldn't force it on anyone, just give parents, schools & children a choice. |

Message | I must agree with Marxians here. We cannot have freedom of religion with having schools be able to enforce their religion on others. |

Message | Actually, you can always choose different school, so what's the big deal about religion? |
