Bill: Reforma de la AdopciĆ³n / Adoption Reform
Details
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: August 3837
Description[?]:
Adoption is a very serious thing that shan't be on the hands of private companies, whether they are NGOs or multinational human trade mafias. No private company with economical or political interests should decide who can adopt and who can't, We propose that the government manages adoptions by creating the Instituto Nacional de la AdopciĆ³n (INA), or Adoption National Institute. This department of the Ministry of Health and Social Services will be the link between the children, coming from orphanages or from foreign countries, and their future adoptive parents. Their only "prejudice" will be to forbid adoption to those with a previous history of child abuse, violence or kidnapping. -- Helena Gay-Leblanc, Amanecer's Health & SS Manager |
