Description[?]:

The ownership of all Private firearms within the Republic will be banned in order to safeguard the security of all members of the public, and to reduce the availability of firearms to criminal elements.

The Armed Forces and Police are exempt from the above laws, however members of aforementioned services are not allowed to bring said firearms to their place of residence within the borders of the Republic. All such firearms required for the operation of those services will be kept under tight security within the confines of aforementioned barracks or stations and may only be removed when required for either training purposes or for direct use for the means in which they are designed.

Privately operated security firms are covered by this law as those firearms are deemed to be owned on a Private, individual basis and as such are not entitled to handle firearms
