Sponsor: Senator Shenna Dummond, DSP Fuwan Cosponsors: Senator Nathalie Pelosi, DSP Shinatawa; Senator Bernard Sanderson, DSP Orame § 1: AMENDMENTS TO THE USC: Section 1: Title IV, § 15 of the USC shall be stricken and replaced with "Only regulated agribusinesses may produce industrial hemp." Section 2: Title XV, § 7 of the USC shall be amended to show "Nuclear power plants are not permitted" Section 3: Title XII, § 5 of the USC regulating pesticide use shall be amended to show "The government approves and regulates agricultural chemical use." Section 4: Title XI, § 12 of the USC shall be amended to show "The government funds recycling facilities and enforces mandatory recycling for residents, commercial enterprise, and industry." Section 5: Title XI, § 14 of the USC shall be stricken and replaced with "The government is responsible for waste disposal." §: 2 RULES AND REGULATIONS: Section 1: The Senate Select Committee on Food and Drugs shall be responsible for reviewing and approving chemicals for agricultural use. The Committee will be responsible for hiring a team of scientists to review the safety of each pesticide before approval. Section 2: The Ministry for Environment and Tourism shall be responsible for establishing a "Federal Waste Management Agency" responsible for coordinating all waste management and recycling programs in the Democratic Republic of Solentia. The agency will be funded under the Ministry of Environment's general budget. |
