Sponsor: Senator Dianne Goldman, DSP Fuwan Cosponsors: Senator Nathalie Pelosi, DSP Shinatawa; Senator Bernard Sanderson, DSP Orame A bill to expand workers rights in the Democratic Republic of Solentia, and for other purposes. Be it enacted by the Senate of the Democratic Republic of Solentia that, § 1: AMENDMENTS TO THE USC: §§ 1: Title IV (§ 3) of the USC shall be amended to show " Child labour is forbidden." §§ 2: Title IV (§ 4) of the USC shall be stricken and substituted with "Closed shops, union shops and agency shops are legal." §§ 3: Title IV (§ 19) USC shall be amended to read "The government enforces a salary cap." §§ 4: Title XII (§ 1) USC shall be repealed and replaced with "Agricultural crops which are considered beneficial to the enviroment or to the continued ecological safety of the state are subsidized." § 2: RULES & REGULATIONS: §§ 1: In general - all instituions, public or private, for-profit or non-profit, shall be prohibited to employ individuals under the age of 16. (i.) Violators of this section will be required to pay a fine equivalent to 300,000 Solenars. (ii.) Institutions or individuals who violate this section more than once are eligible for up to 10 years in federal prison. §§: 2: The Ministry of Finance enforce a wage cap on all citizens, nationals and foreign employees, limiting yearly income at a maximum of 5 million solenars per year in after-tax income. |
