Message | Hi! Regarding the paramilitaries, they are the secondary national security forces, to report directly to the Home/Internal Affairs in-charge, and with exclusive support of the Intelligence agencies of the country, to be exclusively used for specific needs as per their expertise in times of emergencies of any kind during peace time or otherwise, where ensuring peace and safety of all citizens and visitors can be difficult for the national police service. And since the military forces are to focus on border protection and issues related to foreign threats alone, these paramilitary forces fill that tender and vital gap between the work of the military and the police. This tender character does not mean that they are extra-judicial or capable of taking the law into their own hands. They need heavy government regulation, which is why such a proposal was put up. Further details of paramilitary forces for each requirement would be put up as a separate resolution. I request you to reconsider your stand. Thank you. [OOC Examples of their works: Hostage rescue, Coastal area protection, Covert Operations, High-risk Terrorism operations support, national prime establishments' security, Support to military and police operations, etc. Real paramilitary forces of the world and their requirements- USA: SwAT Teams State Defense Forces of all states Dept. of Homeland Security agencies Special Activities Division CANADA: Emergency Response Team SwEDEN National Task Force GERMANY GSG9 INDIA Special Frontier police Indo-Tibetan Border Police Central Industrial Security Force Central Reserve Police Force AND MANY MORE IN OTHER COUNTRIES.] |

Random fact: It is not allowed to call more than 5 elections in 5 game years in a nation. The default sanction for a player persisting in the early election tactic will be a seat reset. |
