| We modify the spendings in concordance to the income tax reduction. We reduce dramatically the expenses of the Ministry of Finance: the only expense is the salary of the employees, it was a terrible waste of money. Also, we've made several changes to the economic structure of the government; if the opposition has got any doubt now or in the future, we're open to answer any question about this budget. We haven't changed the budgets of the vital ministries of Health-SS and Education, nor the not-too-high Defence budget. We've increased the budget of Internal Affairs to strengthen our Police and Firefighters, who suffered from a too low budget. -- Roberto Pedralbes, Minister of Finance |
