Message | Mr. Speaker, today we, the Green Party of Solentia, rise in firm and fierce opposition to this bill. This bill would serve only to damage productive members of our society for no other reason than to affirm the biases and prejudices held by the SUN Party. There are no, and I do mean none at all, reasons to support these proposals. There are no reasons, legally, why a same sex couple should not be wed, why they should not be able to adopt children. Two people who love each other, who want to spend their lives together should be completely free to do so. And the children in our nation deserve a loving family, whether headed by a same sex couple or a heterosexual couple. I ask the members of this body to do the right thing, to vote against this ridiculous legislation. |
