Message | Mr. Speaker, It is NOT the role of government to dictate the price of a commodity (energy in this case) but that should be set by the Free Market. Under current Federal law, subsidies or vouchers are given to people with low income if they can't afford electricity. Thus, this bill is unnecessary. We yield. |
