Bill: Legallising Recreational Cannabis
Details
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: May 3847
Description[?]:
Currently, all recreational drug use is forbidden. However, it is legal as a sedative and for medical reasons, but we believe cannabis should also be legal for recreational reasons. Cannabis is proven to cause less harm than alcohol which is legal, thus we believe cannabis should most definitely be legal. |
Proposals
Article 1

Message | Mr. Speaker, Cannabis can only serve to bind the working class more fully into the chains of oppression. As a recreational drug it takes up a large portion of income and has been proven to have significant negative effects on a person's health, most notably relative to brain function. We cannot allow this. |

Message | Surely it's up to the people whether or not they waste their income and health. If you outlaw cannabis then you might as well outlaw alcohol as well. How could cannabis possibly lead the working class into the chains of oppression? |
