| Mr. Speaker, We believe that the current flag (showing the hammer and sickle) does not represent our nation, as we are not a communist state. We are proposing an alternative that omits this without dramatically changing other aspects of the flag, such as the colour. |

If this flag is not preferred by a majority, then we would like to initiate an open discussion as to what would be preferred. This should be a decision that all parties have a say in.
