Bill: The Voting Rights of Criminals
Details
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: November 3847
Description[?]:
Currently, criminals released from jail are allowed to vote. However, we believe criminals should have to wait after a certain period of time to be allowed to vote. This way, people who are likely to re-offend will have already likely done so by the time the limit is over, meaning criminals won't be voting. Criminals should not play a role in determining who runs our country, that privilege should be left for law abiders. |
