Message | Mr. Speaker Mr. Romani's concerns are indeed valid, falsehood possess the potential to inflict damage upon individuals and the state and have done so in the past. That being said, a substantially greater amount of damage is dealt when the state possesses the power to determine what is fact and what is fiction, especially as such information relates to, often corrupt, individuals of doubtful intent within the government or the greater populace. Even a court of law possesses the ability to inflict injustices when given such a power. Konstantina Thekla Ioannida Chairwoman of the Populara Kuniĝo por Paca Disvolviĝo |

Message | Mr. Speaker While we are voting in favour, we would like to inform our partners in the PKPD we will be seeking to amend Article 2 in a subsequent bill to protect individuals and organizations from having falsehoods written about them without being able to seek legal recourse, though we do agree with removing the government from the picture.
