Message | Article 1: The nation's Defence Industry - we don't believe the state should be subsidising the defence industry, we should leave this up to the private sector, although our opposition isn't very strong. Article 2: The Right to Gamble - We are strongly against because we believe there should not be any regulations for gambling at all whatsoever. Our government should not interfere where it's not wanted. Article 3: Stance on Illegal Aliens - Strongly opposed to because we should be seeking out illegal aliens and deporting them, if we do not seek out illegal aliens then some terrorists could be easily getting away with residing in our country, which is a threat to national security. Plus we should seek out illegal aliens anyway, we don't want an overpopulated country, especially if a bulk of that population shouldn't even be here. Article 4: Nation's Power Grid - We shouldn't allow one company to have a monopoly on the entire national grid, because then they could charge extortionate prices to our citizens, which is not at all fair, at least with multiple companies one company wouldn't have a monopoly and the ability to do that. Article 5: Religious Advertising - We are neutral on this. |

Message | Mr. Speaker, We are willing to drop articles 2 and 4, but we believe that article 3 places an undue burden on Luthorian citizens. In an ideal world, we would actively search for illegal aliens house to house, but what happens when these houses are owned by good citizens who don't want to be bothered by fruitless searches. We see this as a compromise. I yield |

Message | We will still oppose this, not seeking out illegal aliens will overcrowd our country and be a threat to security. |

Message | Mr Speaker. The Liberal alliance: Opposes article 1. The state must'nt own companies in a market economy. Opposes article 2. Let people play at their own responsibility. Supports article 3. But want further open-border policies than proposed by HSP. Opposes article 4. Monopolies are bad. even if its held by a private company. Market economy! Supports article 5. Religion and the state should be separated. I yield. |
