Not all people smoke. Not all people wish to be subject to the dangers of secondhand smoke. And while, yes, any who choose to do so should be free to smoke, they should not be free to subject those who do not to the harmful effects of secondhand smoke. We urge this body to pass this bill. |

Old value:: Smoking is legal everywhere, at the discretion of the property owner, but is illegal in government-owned buildings.
Current: Smoking is legal outdoors and in private homes and clubs, but illegal indoors in all places of employment.
Proposed: Smoking is only allowed in private homes and clubs.
