Bill: "Freedom Plus" Program Initiation
Details
Submitted by[?]: National Republican Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: August 3855
Description[?]:
If parents are able to and choose to place children in a private school, that option should be available to them. Private schools - schools not run by the government - should not be subject to restrictive regulation. This is about the freedom to choose what sort of education one's child gets. That is choice that should rest with the parents and not with the government. Allowing for more private options doesn't weaken public education system. These new private schools will be paid for by those who choose to - not by the taxpayer. There is no reason to limit the opportunities available to those who have the opportunity to attend private schools. |
