| We do not have any law agaisnt the Mafia, this is unforgivable. We must directly seize their land through government action and redistribute to newly created cooperatives. Being part of the Mafia must criminal ------- Sarah Green-Flores So this bill - Criminalize appartenance to a Mafia - Leave the definition of the mafia to the ministry of Justice - Allow the government to seize the property of the Mafia, Nationalize them or redistribute them in the form of cooperatives. - Call the government to end the Mafia once and for all. |

| Message | Mr. Speaker & FON Representative, As the representative of the Justice Department in your recent cabinent, we applaud this bill that tightens controls on organized crime and the mafia. However, we are STRONGLY OPPOSED to one critical resolution that can be SEVERELY abused by a future Justice Department in Rutania, that is the following: "Leave the definition of the mafia to the ministry of Justice"---FON You see, to simply allow GOVERNMENT BUREAUCRATS to arbitrarily define WHAT or WHO is an abstract concept as "Mafia" poses a CLEAR & PRESENT DANGER to freedom and this Constitutional Republic and/or Democracy. I mean, what if the Justice Department defined "Mafia" as a "Group of citizens opposed to Climate Change/Global Warming, Labor Unions, or Atheist???" I demand the immediatenresignation fo Justice Hugo Black. who do not respect the law of our country and the law of our country demand our public employes, to promises political independance, we see a judge acting directly as a spokeperson of a political party. you do not give us political independance we promesses. The critics you made, would be valid if our government was uncontrollable or if political employee where appointed politicly, but this is not true. Our public servant are more then intelligent to determine what is a Mafia and what is not a Mafia, and they are responsable in face of the ministry of justice, so, I don't feel the danger denounced by the CWF.. Reimi Black-White OOC : I read this in our laws. Appointments and requirements for government employees. All government employees have to promise political independence. Alternatives:Government employees are selected and appointed in a political way... I believe judge in the suprême court is a government employee and should not be in a political party. |

| Message | OOC: Friends of Nature, actually in Canada's system that requires judges to DISAVOW membership within a political party is an ENEMY to democracy. Let me explain: you see, EVERYONE on the planet--including judges on the Canada's Supreme Court---has a POLITICAL ORIENTATION and individual viewpoints. However, in the American system, your lawyer can strategically bet and strategize on how to win a legal case because the Justices are UPFRONT that they are either members of the Democratic Party or the Republican Party. On the contrary, in Canada's system, your lawyer has NO IDEA how the judges will rule b/c their politics are CONCEALED. That being said, they could be a CLOSETED Fascist supporter of Hitler or Mussolini but you will NEVER know. Those SUBJECTIVE political beliefs can BIAS their case. In conclusion, Thomas Jefferson (the 3rd President of the U.S.) said that the most DANGEROUS threat to liberty was "The Tyranny of an OLIGARGY (or the body of the Court packed with UN-elected judges for LIFE TENUE)." So, judges with a HIDDEN political belief set can systematically take freedom from EVERYBODY. What are your thoughts? |
