Bill: Armed Forces Liberalization Act, 3869

Details

Submitted by[?]: Liberala Demokratio Forumo

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: May 3871

Description[?]:

Mr Speaker,

It is time for a well thought-out and thorough liberalization of the armed forces. Currently, we are not using our human resources to our full potential. The threat of Papezky Deltaria as well as the Ahmadi State proves that we ought to give everyone the opportunity to defend herself, we cannot simply rely on our traditional armed forces any longer.

We support the majority of this bill, but if it was brought to a vote we would have to vote against it because of article one.

MessageMr. Speaker,

We would urge our honorable colleagues within the LDF and Ĉielo to consider the implications of allowing the ownership of weapons specifically designed to kill in mass in regards to any member of the Zardic populace regardless of their mental and criminal histories. While it is true that weapons do not kill people, people kill people, it is also true the it is supremely easier to take multiple lives with certain calibers of such. In order to protect the lives of Zardic citizens, please moderate this bill.

I do believe that the measures that the country has at the moment is the right position. Our party is deeply worried by the use of National Service as it is not needed at the present moment

MessageMr Speaker,

We must oppose most parts of this legislation. We refuse to hobble the professional armed forces by forcibly incorporating paramilitary groups.
We do support articles 4 and 5 and will support them in other legislation separate from here.
