Message | Mr. Speaker, this all looks very nice. But isn't the meaning of debate of bills to ask questions? We understand that some questions may occur which are totally unrelated to any of the bills in debate. Personally, I would ask the person to whom I would like to pose a question directly in Presidium. OOC: I understand that this Question Time would make sure that 'difficult' questions are indeed answered. I think that's the idea of this bill, or am I mistaken. That's why I posted a reaction, to make sure we are one the same frequency. |

Message | Mr. Speaker, and to the Prime Minister, Discussions over creating an office of the Vice President (http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=441208) have raised questions over the partisanship and balance, especially considering the recent expansion of the executive branch with a presidency. Will the Prime Minister confirm that the Vice President will be of a separate party than the President's party to maintain that political balance? C. T. Edwards Chairwoman of the PLF |

Message | OOC: Yo, ECA, I think parties should require to post a link of the bill they're questioning or referring to as part of QTs |

Message | Mr Speaker, To answer PLF's question, I don't believe that is a situation I can clarify as of yet. The Presidum has to make that call by voting on the bill in question. It is not for me to be making decisions on behalf of the Presidum. My personal view is that it should be up to each individual presidential candidate. They could offer the vice-presidency to another party in order to consolidate support, or they could choose a vice president from their own party so that they have a running mate who most closely matches their own ideology. The people could choose to reward either approaches and should make the decision that they believe is best. This is an important debate and will have a major effect on the future of Lodamun's political system. Nick Bird Prime Minister of Lodamun |

Message | M. Speaker, To the Minister of Finance: Could the minister please illustrate what he intends to do regarding the decline of the KFS crisis? And will the minister be sending a representative to the conference? This was a decision that I was not able to make when I was Finance Minister, as the election was upon us.
