Mr. Speaker,

What would have happened if the MOTHER of the PSU and the NLP decided to exercise her "Right to Choose"???

What if a family is so poor that it can't afford to raise one more child?
What if an underage girl is pregnant and had to withdraw her studies just to raise her child?

There are several alternatives to murder in these circumstances, foster care for one. Plus, this girl could have been proactive and either a) not had sex or b) used a condom. Poverty might be used as an argument against the second, but not against the first, which merely requires a decision.

To the PSU,

We agree with the UNSC. Thanks to artificial womb technology, a woman can put her baby up for adoption even BEFORE she gives birth and the baby will be raised in an incubator or an "artificial womb."

PSU, we remember that you voted to restrict abortion in the beginning, but now you have flip flopped. MAY we ask what happened???

MessageTo the PSU and CWFP,

People should be given the CHOICE regarding abortion though. Let's not pretend the process isn't stressful, I am sure most if not all women would choose to not get pregnant in the first place if they could. But that is not always possible. If they have sex and become pregnant, they should at least be able to have an abortion. If they object based on moral or religious reasons then they can simply choose not to have an abortion. I simply believe we should let the people decide for themselves.

Foster care is also far from ideal. I am not opposed to it and if the mother wants to put their child up for foster care then so be it. However, we should acknowledge that some people will object to their child being raised in foster care, these stats are a good example of this:

http://www.stirjournal.com/2014/05/12/u-s-foster-care-a-flawed-solution-that-leads-to-more-long-term-problems/

We are not forcing abortion on people. That would be authoritarian. But restricting abortion would be just as authoritarian. If someone doesn't want to get an abortion then they don't have to. But if a woman wants to get an abortion then she should have the power to have one. Forcing a woman to see out her pregnancy is the equivalent of the state raping her.

To the NLP,

Actually, by allowing women to have abortions, the women are FORCING abortion on the BABY who could even be a GIRL (or a LITTLE Feminist)!! :'( :'( :'(

Is that NOT authoritarian when the woman can just put the baby in an Artificial Womb as I cited in the article???
