MessageYou are proposing bills w/ unrelated articles. This is manipulation of the game. How can you do this and call yourself a Christian. You are evil. Oh wait, that is what you said to me when I did this. NPH doesn't support this bill in its current form. We will be voting no.

MessageWCP: difference is I will separate the articles that have enough support to pass on their own. It's called negotiation and compromise.

MessageOur general population aren't allowed to own firearms, our police force(s) are backed up by the military and that article allows for specialist firearms teams. Do you really think the remaining police officers who are not firearms specialists need to be armed?

MessageOh our general populace isn't allowed to have guns. Which of course means that criminals won't have guns, because criminals would never break the law. Wow now that makes perfect sense.

MessageDue to various legislation, there is only one way criminals can get their hands on guns, our defence industry can sell guns to anyone.

MessageCriminals can get their hands on guns illegally. Is it impossible to get through our borders? So there is no smuggling etc. Perhaps the DUP is willing to risk innocent police officers' lives to gain votes, but NPH won't.

MessageActually, there is less violent crime in the UK than the US.

MessageCorrect: less does not equal zero. But just as sure as that is true so is the fact that legalised gun ownership and drugs abuse, like a certain party supports, would damage that low rate.

MessageActually where I am originally from the in US has among the highest gun ownership rates, yet has crime rates much lower than those of the UK.

But then again we have had the right to bear arms in the US ever since we got rid of our authoritarian leaders.

I hope that the UDA and Seosavists realize that under current law it is illegal for any members of their militia to own guns and after this bill the only people who will own guns in Luthori is the army. So we really dont' feel all that threatened by a civil war. Guns versus sticks, we feel confident in our guns.

MessageWhite Castle seems to have serious problems with the concept of illegal guns. Are you telling me there are no drugs in America because they are illegal?

MessageOK, are you literate? That is what I have been saying this whole time. You are among the people that have been saying we don't need to have armed police because guns are illegal in our country. Pick a damn position can you?

For example when you said above:

"Our general population aren't allowed to own firearms, our police force(s) are backed up by the military and that article allows for specialist firearms teams. Do you really think the remaining police officers who are not firearms specialists need to be armed?"

So our criminals have guns and you want our police disarmed. Brilliant proposal.

Random quote: "A strong body makes the mind strong. As to the species of exercises, I advise the gun. While this gives moderate exercise to the body, it gives boldness, enterprise and independence to the mind. Games played with the ball, and others of that nature, are too violent for the body and stamp no character on the mind. Let your gun therefore be your constant companion of your walks." - Thomas Jefferson
