Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: June 3878

Description[?]:

We seek to beautify and renew the capital city based on Cildanian, Hosian, and Socialist themes. We especially hope to create new and peaceful green spaces of reflection, primarily in park areas. This beautification act will consist of three separate projects

1. Renewal of the Mor Yaqub Cathedral Ruins:
Clearing of rubble of city destroyed by Cathedral. Modernist Cildanian sculptor Jerabaam Jabbur has offered to construct a ring of 50 metal sculptures of persons holding hands in defiance, with openings for walkways. The old altar of the former cathedral shall be enshrined in a small, granite, nondenominational chapel of memory. Furthermore, the grounds shall have walking labyrinths and seating areas on all sides, so that Cildanians can reflect on their lives and historical events

2. Statue of Labor, Art, and War
A 30 foot trio of statues should be placed facing the halls of the assembly in Qart Qildar. Each shall hold symbols of trade. The Labor Statue shall hold a hammer, the Art Statue shall be playing a flute, and the war statue will bear a sword. These sculptures shall remind the people who visit and our legislators that the government is responsible for the welfare of our workers, soldiers, and caretakers of our culture. The Queen, Communist Leaders, and General Sus will all be asked for quotes to place on the pedestals of the statues

3. People's Park
A disused park space in the capital should be used to create a place of entertainment which is free for those who present union cards, work IDs, or military IDs, as well as their families. All others will pay a very minimal fee. This park will host a Ferris wheel, concert shell, pond, and spaces for vendors to sell various goods and foods. A statue of our current Queen should be installed by the entrance

We agree with all of these proposals, with the exception of the Mor Yaqub Cathedral plans. The Cathedral was an ancient Hosian monument, and turning it into a non-denominational construction is exactly what the Imperial regime wanted. For the sake of religious peace, we suggest that the Cathedral be rebuilt in its old style as a Departmental church, and Jerabaam Jabbur's proposed project commemorating all the martyrs of the revolution be placed in front of the Church.

Random fact: When you join the game, you will find yourself with only zero seats. That's because your party's representatives haven't been elected yet. You need to establish your party's position on issues by proposing several bills that your party wants passed and sending them to vote. This raises your visibility and if you do it enough, you will win seats at the next election.
